Regina Goijen – Business Developer
“The fact that we will consume and use energy in the future is a given. However, the sources from which we derive that energy are something we can influence.” – Regina Goijen
Regina Goijen has been working on the development of green gas since 2020. As a project lead at Nature Energy, she works on the production of green gas on a daily basis. But why really? ‘Energy is an essential part of society. Looking to the future, it is important to look at better, safer and cleaner alternatives. I really see green gas as an energy source that has a lot of potential. The fact that we will consume and use energy in the future is a given. However, the sources from which we derive that energy are something we can influence. That’s why I’m working on the energy transition.’
When Regina first visited a green gas plant in Denmark, she was immediately sold. It’s not just about making plans – real work is being done to bring them to life. Regina is now working on a green gas plant in Coevorden. ‘As project lead of Nature Energy Coevorden, I have seen how committed the community in Coevorden is to the local environment and to making the area more sustainable. There is careful consideration about the steps needed to make the energy transition future-proof. That only makes me more excited to be part of this!’
When she’s not working at Nature Energy, you’ll often find Regina rallying on the courts in the local tennis league.
