We look back on two successful evenings on July 10 and 11 in Den Helder, where we had the opportunity to further engage with the local community. Wednesday evening provided space for local entrepreneurs to learn more about the project, while Thursday evening offered local residents a chance to connect with the project. From engaged residents to manure traders, a range of sectors and businesses were represented.
Both evenings brought forward diverse perspectives that have provided valuable input for the project. Project lead Rob Stassen also reflects positively on the sessions: “We are truly impressed by the interest, ideas, and engagement from the local community. It’s clear that both the present and future matter here. We look forward to many more moments like these, where we work together with the community toward a more sustainable future.”
In the coming period, we’ll continue working on the ideas gathered during these sessions. At the same time, there are many steps still to take to bring green gas production to the region. We hope to continue meeting with the local community along the way. Do you have any remaining questions, or would you like to stay informed about the latest developments?
